“I truly felt strengthened in my faith during the preaching of God’s words and once again have the courage to continue performing no matter what situation I may encounter. It’s also a blessing to sing together with my fellow choir members in our district,” expressed Melanie Macapinlac, an organist in the Norval Congregation.
By the same token, a choir director Deborah Bilang, enthused, “Being rejuvenated once again, I will use this additional strength to devote myself even more in the performance of my duty.”
Such were the shared experience and feeling as well of their fellow members of the choir of all congregations in Ecclesiastical District of Southern Ontario, having greatly inspired from whichever of the two special gatherings they attended on February 19, 2023.
Simultaneously held at the houses of worship of the local congregations of Mississauga West and Niagara Falls, the holy occasions were led by Brother Raul Adalla, district supervising minister, and Brother Jay Acuña, assistant district supervising minister, respectively.
Through the Bible-inspired lesson taught by the officiating ministers, the choir members were reminded of how significant their sacred role is of leading the congregation in solemnly hymn-singing to the Lord God during worship services and other religious gatherings. They were also encouraged to remain dedicated in their performances by singing hymns of praises wholeheartedly. — With reports from INC News Section and Nigil Erran Anor
