The much-awaited day finally came for the candidates for baptism in Leyte East Ecclesiastical District as they received their holy baptism into the Church Of Christ before February 2021 ended.

On February 26, two simultaneous baptisms were held in the district. At the house of worship of Palo Local Congregation, Brother Eraño Fabella, district supervising minister, officiated the holy gathering.

Brother Albert Tolentino, assistant district supervising minister, led the study of God’s words in the Saint Bernard Local Congregation’s house of worship.

Before the immersion into the water of the prospective members, they received biblical teachings led by the respective officiating ministers. Taught to them were the qualities of a true servant of God to be worthy of His blessings not only in this life, but most importantly, the salvation on Judgment Day.

The newly baptized members were the fruits of propagation efforts of the brethren during the pandemic. They were unhindered to unite in the intensive propagation of their faith. Thus, more members were added into the district’s membership. — With reports from INC News Section
