Church membership in Misamis Occidental, in Mindanao, Philippines continues to grow as the fruits of the evangelistic efforts of the brethren in the Church’s district in that province reach their baptism.

The most recent was held on December 5, 2021 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Ozamis City, where the candidates for baptism from various local congregations in the district gathered for the final step of their conversion into the Church Of Christ.

Brother Allan Fernandez, the district supervising minister, officiated the pre-baptism worship service. During his Bible-based preaching, he pointed out the great blessings from God that the baptismal candidates were about to receive which include the privilege to worship Him and hope for the promised eternal life in heaven. He exhorted them thus to hold on to their membership.

The sacred event is the result of the enthusiastic participation of the brethren in the recent months in the holy endeavor of spreading the pure gospel. Hence, more and more true worshipers of God were being added by Him into the Church in their district.

Misamis Occidental district has 35 local congregations and 17 extensions. — With reports from INC News Section
