Church membership in Misamis Occidental continues to grow

Always one with the Administration in the intensive propagation of the gospel, Church membership in Misamis Occidental, in Mindanao, Philippines has continued to grow as baptisms were periodically held by the Church’s district in that province.
The most recent of these was held on December 5, 2021 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Ozamis City where the candidates for baptism from various local congregations in the district safely arrived to fulfill the final step of their conversion into the Church Of Christ.
The Misamis Occidental Ecclesiastical District supervising minister, Brother Allan Fernandez, officiated the baptismal service. During his Bible-based preaching, he emphasized the great blessings from God that the would-be members were about to receive, which included the right to worship Him and hope for the promised eternal life in heaven. He exhorted them thus to hold on to their membership and endure any trials until the end.
The enthusiastic involvement of the brethren in this holy endeavor of spreading the pure gospel in the recent months was not in vain because more and more true worshipers of God were being added by Him into the Church.
Misamis Occidental district has 35 local congregations and 17 extensions. — With reports from INC News Section
