Through the Church Of Christ’s Care For Humanity social program and evangelical mission, its Ecclesiastical District of Paniqui, Tarlac reached out to the Aeta resettlement community in Sitio Dueg, Barangay Maasin, San Clemente, Tarlac, the Philippines on December 3, 2022.

Brother Ronaldo Losloso, district supervising minister, led the delegation of brethren who traveled a distance of 50 kilometers from the district office in the town of Paniqui to reach the resettlement area and conduct the twofold activity.

“We are so thankful to the Lord God that He utilizes the Church Administration in inspiring us to hold an activity like this. Through this, we do not only extend to our fellowmen a form of material assistance but more importantly, sharing with them the pure gospel that leads to salvation,” Brother Losloso said.

Ahead of the delegation, the members of three local congregations near Sitio Dueg, namely Bacabac, Camiling, and San Clemente, arrived in the area and invited the residents to the event intended for their benefit, which would be led in their community’s covered game court. They also handed out copies of the Church’s magazines and pamphlets.

During the evangelical mission, Brother Pol Francisco, the district Light of Salvation overseer, delivered lesson on what the Bible prescribes as the solution to the current problems in the world. He pointed out that is by becoming a member of the true Church of Christ in order to have the hope of dwelling in the Holy City where there will be no more pain and sorrow.

Afterwards, goodwill bags filled with food items were distributed to the attendees.

“I thank the Church Of Christ for helping us.” said Albert Capuan, the community’s chieftain who led all the guests. “We are so happy that there are people like you. You trekked all the way here for us, to help us. On behalf of my people, we extend our welcome to you. You are always welcome here. We really look forward about knowing more about the truth in the Bible.” —With reports from INC News Section
