Church officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Davao de Oro, Philippines held a special gathering through videoconferencing on January 8, 2021.
Brother Nicanor Bernardo, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy service from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Nabunturan, which served as the host site.

Brother Bernardo preached a Bible-based lesson about God’s aim in placing officers in the Church, that is, for the brethren to reach the fullness of faith in order to be deemed worthy of receiving salvation.
Afterwards, Brother Atanacio Gumapon, minister of the gospel, swore in the new officers.
“We thank our Lord God and the Church Administration because there are gatherings such as this that all the more renews our zeal in serving God. Even if there are trials in life such as this pandemic, with these occasions we are strengthen in the faith for us to continue fulfilling our duties in the Church Of Christ,” said Imelda Fajel, deaconess from Nabunturan Local Congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
