Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members are exhorted by the Church Administration to trust, rely, and have faith in the Almighty God amid the worsening living conditions in the world.

This, among others, was reminded to the Church officers of all local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South during their special gathering on May 1, 2023 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Rome.

The district supervising minister, Brother Randy Macalinao, officiated at the holy occasion held first and foremost for the attendees to offer thanks and praise to the Lord God for His abiding help and to receive His divine message for their spiritual edification and guidance.

“Church officers, like the deacons, deaconesses, area and group overseers, among others, are instrumental in helping the Church Administration to edify the faith of the brethren entrusted to their care,” said Brother Michael Pineda, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer. “It is [vital] that they be the first ones to be strong in the faith.”

Brother Macalinao encouraged the Church officers to all the more strive to fulfill their God-given duties, exhorting them to imitate His early servants who showed exemplary zeal and devotion as recorded in the Holy Scriptures. He reassured them they could always put their full confidence in God.

“We’re so thankful for this gathering, [we were] further inspired to keep performing our duties,” said Brother Pineda.

Vic Del Rosario Jr., head deacon of the Local Congregation of Naples, who, like a number of other officers, traveled for hours to reach the venue, said “the effort was worth it. He explained: “What we felt during the gathering was so special. We felt God’s presence as we sang, prayed, and listened to the preaching. We went back home renewed in spirit and edified in the faith.” — With reports from Nicole Constantino of INC News Section
