Church officers of all local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe conducted a special gathering on November 27, 2022, during which newly appointed ones were sworn in.

The district supervising minister officiated at the gathering which was held mainly at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Oslo, Norway and was streamed live to other places of worship in the district.

Citing Bible verses, Brother Romeo Marquez taught how the Church officers could effectively lead the brethren under their care in serving the Lord God and sharing the true faith with more devotion and enthusiasm.

After the study of God’s words, Brother Rexmith Chris Catalasan, district secretary, administered the oath-taking of the 24 new officers.

“We praise God for adding more Church officers that will become effective helpers to the Church Administration in safeguarding the faith of our fellow brethren,” said Brother James Bautista, ministerial worker assigned at the Local Congregation of Vienna West, Austria.

A week earlier, on November 20, officers of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) held their own special gathering in the same place of worship, which was officiated also by Brother Marquez. Through his preaching, they received reminders from the Bible on the relevance to their spiritual advancement of holding Church duties at a young age.

Disclosing she felt strengthened in the faith, Richelle Cerri, CWS officer, resolved: “I will continue to be of help to the Church Administration in guiding the children entrusted to my care, such as in the proper way of worshiping God, so that when they grow old they will not depart from the true faith.” — With reports from INC News Section
