In the spirit of concern to their fellowmen, the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers and members from the ecclesiastical districts of Bulacan West and Isabela West led blood donation drives in their respective areas.

On February 25, the CMDPS of Bulacan West District, in coordination with the Bulacan Provincial Blood Center (BPBC), conducted a blood donation drive at the Guiguinto Municipal Athletic and Cultural Center in Guiguinto, Bulacan.

A total of 128 blood bags were collected; the BPBC being its recipient.

Jeona Sam Ortencio, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officer from the Local Congregation of Pritil, and was among the qualified donors,  said, “The Church Administration does not relent in reminding us to show compassion to our fellowmen. This blood donation is indeed one way of doing so.”

Meanwhile, the humanitarian activity of Isabela West was held in coordination with the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) at an events venue in San Manuel Total, Nueva Era, San Manuel, Isabela, Philippines, on March 4, 2023.

The donors first underwent health screenings to assess if they are qualified to donate. The 93 bags of blood that were collected were happily received by the CVMC, which was also the beneficiary. — With reports from INC News Section
