“We thank, above all, our Lord God for helping us in performing our duty. We also thank the Church Administration for this activity that would help us become more active in serving God and guide us in shepherding the children in the Church,” Genialyn David, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from Mansaya Local Congregation, expressed after participating in the CWS Teachers’ Conference on July 1, 2022.

The Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Office convened the CWS teachers in the Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo South, in the Philippines, to receive reminders and biblical teachings that will help them in performing their duties.

Nine different sites were designated for the activity, namely: the house of worship of the Local Congregations of Mandurriao, Guimbal, Barotac Nuevo, Passi City, Janiuay, Quipot, and Alibhon and the conference room of the Local Congregation of Iloilo City.

Brother Charmil Castro, a minister of the gospel assigned in the CFO Office, presided over the conference. He reiterated to the attendees, through the Bible, their duties as the Church Administration’s helpers in looking after the children of the brethren. He taught to them about the traits that young members in the Church should possess as well as the proper use of social media.

“I am blessed to have attended this activity because I was reminded how to properly fulfill my Church duty, to care for the children and CWS officers entrusted to me,” said Lenlen Sacapaño, a CWS teacher from La Paz Local Congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
