Three local congregations and one group worship service under the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa played host to neighboring congregations in the ‘Welcome, My Brethren’ events simultaneously held on December 26, 2022.

The places of worship of the local congregations of Pointe-Claire, Moncton, Nepean, and by the St. John, New Brunswick Group Worship Service served as venues for the fun-filled activity that aimed to foster unity and brotherhood among the attendees, which included newly baptized and prospective members.

Officers of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) performed song numbers featuring INC Original Music. Care packages and refreshments were also provided as part of the activity.

“It feels like I’m at home. I feel comfortable,” stated Franklin St. Louis, a prospective member.

“It was truly heart-warming. I felt truly welcome in this activity. I appreciate the way the brethren guided me here and towards the understanding of the truth,” Joe Marie Fernando, a doctrinal instructee, said.

In each of the venues, a minister of the gospel was present to supervise the activity. —With reports from INC News Section
