Church members from the Catania Group Worship Service, Messina GWS, Calabria GWS, and Palermo GWS, all located in Sicily, Italy combined their efforts and resources in extending aid to their fellowmen through a Care for Humanity event on November 20, 2022.

The brethren brought the guest-beneficiaries to the Europa Palace Hotel along Località Pistunina in the city of Messina, where they held a simple but fitting program.

It opened with an inspiring message delivered by the Italy South Ecclesiastical District supervising minister, Brother Randy Macalinao, followed by a video presentation introducing the guests to the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) and its biblical beliefs and practices, including the basis for lending a hand to others.

And after select brethren’s uplifting rendition of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music, the beneficiaries were handed the care packages containing basic necessities and some other grocery items intended for them.

In an interview, Brother Vizar Balcita, assistant district supervising minister, expressed appreciation of the brethren’s cooperation and unity that greatly contributed to the success of the said Care for Humanity event. He also extended to them further encouragement to “continue to be one and united with the Church Administration and all Church endeavors.” — With reports from INC News Section
