With the help and guidance of God, the intensified efforts of the brethren in the work of propagation resulted in consecutive baptisms of more people into the Church Of Christ in the Davao City Ecclesiastical District, Philippines.
On May 28, 2021, the candidates for baptism gathered at the house of worship of Mintal Local Congregation to receive baptism officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Bedan Ubaldo.
The following day, May 29, another baptism of new converts was held in the General Malvar Local Congregation’s house of worship led by Brother Homer Tiomico, assistant district supervising minister.
Larry Jay Dawang, a newly baptized member currently enlisted in Felomina Grande, expressed, “I felt blessed that the day of my baptism finally came. I promise to always unite with the Church Administration and help them in the work of propagation.”
In an interview, Brother Ubaldo said that they acknowledge it as God’s continued blessings that their district was able to hold such baptisms: “Despite the pandemic and current situation of the world, the brethren here are still active in participating in sharing their faith as commanded by God. As proof of His love, the district held this series of baptisms that added more Church members.” — With reports from INC News Section
