The intensified propagation of God’s words in the Ecclesiastical District of Negros del Norte proved to be unhindered even by the pandemic. As the brethren continued to share their faith to their relatives, friends, and acquaintances online, they reaped the fruits of their labors through a series of baptisms in the district.

On November 27, 2020, two baptisms were held in different venues to observe safety and health protocols. Before the appointed time at 9:00 in the morning, the candidates for baptism gathered at the Guihulngan Local Congregation’s house of worship to receive baptism officiated by Brother Raul Gonzales, assistant district supervising minister.

On the same day, brethren in the area of San Carlos City went to the place of worship of the Local Congregation of San Carlos City to witness the baptism held there at 3:00 in the afternoon. It was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Renato Callejo.

Meanwhile, Brother Gonzales led another baptism on November 29, 2020 in the house of worship of Canlaon City Local Congregation.

In an interview, Brother Federico Tolentino, minister of the gospel, thanked the brethren for their continuous support in the missionary activities and unity with the Church Administration: “We will continue to hold on to the promises of God to His nation—He will not abandon His faithful servants who choose to follow all of His commandments despite the hardships. We will receive His blessings not only in this life, but in the life to come.” ― With reports from the INC News Section
