A cooking challenge activity-home edition held on November 27, 2021 by the Local Congregation of San Agustin, Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City brought excitement to Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi members who love to cook.
“The activity inspired the brethren, participants, and supporters alike,” said Katrine Dagohoy, the KADIWA congregation president. “The cooking challenge-home edition gave a chance for the brethren to enhance their culinary skills.”
Prior to the activity, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers visited the brethren to inform them about the cook-off activity that their congregation would conduct. The brethren positively responded and with much enthusiasm.
“Through the help of officers in the Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi organizations, we were able to accomplish the activity. Help was extended so that each participant would get all they needed for the activity,” said Charles Theo Magno, the Binhi congregation president.
At the end of the activity, the following were declared winners: Arlen Ramones, Buklod category; Charles Jaypee Magno, KADIWA category; and, Rhyza Mae Lagmay, Binhi category. They prepared Cashew Chicken Sauce, Chicken fillet with Mushroom Sauce, and Pollo Asado de Pino, respectively.
The resident ministerial worker, Brother Dexter Zaporteza, supervised the activity. “We thank the Church Administration for their continuous support and love for us. We feel it through the various activities that they launch or approve.” ― With reports from INC News Section
