Brethren from the Local Congregation of Copenhagen, Denmark in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe held a Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Formal Night at Copenhagen Marriott Hotel, Denmark on December 15, 2019 to commemorate their congregation’s 35th anniversary.

The CFO officers organized the event aiming to further strengthen and inspire the brethren. Arnold Dulin, a CFO officer, delivered the opening remarks.

Brother Philip Manguiat, minister of the gospel, narrated the congregation’s history. He said, “It was really inspiring and heart-warming to look back on how the congregation started from its humble beginning to its present stature. It is truly good to see and experience the amazing works and guidance of the Almighty Father.”

Iglesia Ni Cristo original music song numbers were performed by the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) choral group, the Copenhagen choral group, and KADIWA members.

Part of the program was a video presentation of photos that made the brethren remember how God helped them in their congregation’s earlier years.

“We are happy. We cannot believe that we have come this far. God loves us and will not forsake us,” said Imelda Rubiano, expressing the collective joyfulness of the congregation.

The pioneering members were given tokens of appreciation and recognition. Cesar Fernandez, one of the pioneering members, remembered, “We started out with only four members. God has since added many members because of His help and mercy.” ― With reports from INC News Section
