To further edify the married members, the Ecclesiastical District of Cotabato North held simultaneous special gatherings in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Buklod Christian family organization.

The said gatherings of the Buklod members were held on December 25, 2022 in four different venues, namely, the houses of worship of the local congregations of Canaan, M’lang, Kidapawan, and Kabacan. These were officiated respectively by Brother Jesus M. Berte, assistant district supervising minister, and Brothers Josue Ruthas, Edison Romaguera, and Jerson Bacaling, members of the district staff.

Through a Bible-based lesson that the ministers of the gospel preached to them, the Buklod members were reminded of what it takes to attain a blessed marriage: obedience to God’s commandments all the days of their life. Having this quality, they were reassured, will ensure their families of God’s guidance and safekeeping.

“I will continue encouraging my whole family to keep holding on to their duties in the Church. I will continue leading them in the active service of God for Whom all praises belong,” Froilan Handaya Gravidez, 52, the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) district vice president and area overseer in the Local Congregation of Kabacan, said. — With reports from INC News Section
