Couples vie for Southern Europe’s Mr. and Mrs. Chef

Husbands and wives from the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Europe showed their culinary skills and talents in the Mr. and Mrs. Chef challenge held online on March 7, 2021.
Every local congregation in the district had its representatives participate in the Buklod activity approved by the Church Administration.
The couples were given an hour to prepare their food, plating, and final presentation. The couples used their creativity and gave their best in cooking. Judges said that they had a hard time choosing the winner because all food presentations were great.
“We are very happy for we have shared to the brethren our knowledge in cooking,” said Ronaldo Barcebal, from the Local Congregation of Rome, Italy. He added, “We are thankful to the Church Administration for allowing such activity that strengthened the bond of the husband and wife.”
“This kind of activity uplifted the brethren’s spiritual fervor and unity with the Church Administration,” said Elenita Lantano, from the Local Congregation of Grosseto, Italy.― With reports from INC News Section
