The Local Congregation of Cubao, under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City in the Philippines, hosted an evangelical mission on August 12, 2022.

Heeding the call for the intensive sharing of the true faith, the brethren dutifully invited nonmember friends and loved ones. With God’s help, many guests attended the propagational activity which was held at the congregation’s house of worship.

Brother Benjamin T. Delos Reyes, a senior instructor of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers, officiated the evangelical mission. In his Bible-based lecture, he emphasized that while it is important to be diligent in one’s occupation or daily endeavor, seeking and obeying God’s will take precedence; and since joining the Church Of Christ is one of God’s commands, people should make it their priority.

“Days and hours before the activity, the brethren had been inviting their friends and neighbors to attend the evangelical mission. More importantly, our local congregation held a week-long devotional prayer. As a result, God allowed that many people make it to the house of worship to listen to His words,” said Brother Renmar Hementera, resident minister of Cubao.

After the evangelical mission, many of the guests expressed their intention to further study the biblical teachings upheld in the Church Of Christ.

Brother Hementera added, “Whatever the situation of the world is, the Local Congregation of Cubao will continue to unite with the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo in intensifying the propagation of the gospel, to fulfill the will of God that all people come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved.” — With assistance from Cubao Congregation’s Multimedia Team
