“We’re excited in attending our activity as this brings us together. I’m glad to be a part of this activity,” said Cris John Jolipas, deacon, regarding the Kimbap making activity on November 26, 2022.

The activity was hosted online by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) leadership of Olomouc, Czech Republic Group Worship Service (GWS). Through a video presentation, Coreen Madriaga, a KADIWA officer, showed the steps in making Kimbap, a Korean dish made with cooked rice and a variety of vegetables wrapped in seaweed.

In her presentation, she provided the brethren details about preparation of ingredients, up to the actual process of preparing the dish.

“Seeing our brothers and sisters actively joining fun activities in other local congregations inspires us to create a fun activity for our GWS. We also wanted to show the Church Administration that we are supporting activities that our brethren will enjoy and learn from,” Coreen said.

“Even though this activity is online, we can see the happiness of the brethren joining together virtually,” Lynette Austria, an officer in the Finance Department and one of the attendees, observed.

Olomouc GWS is one of the 27 GWS being supervised by the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe. — With reports from INC News Section
