Dubbed “Make Your Kindness Contagious,” the activity sponsored by the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City reinforced in the children the value of being kind, one of which is being helpful at home. The activity was held on November 13, 2021.

CWS members from various local congregations in the district actively participated in the activity by documenting the different ways they help their parents at home. With the guideance of their parents and CWS officers, kids were able to take photos and videos of them doing their chores and then share them to their fellow CWS members. Kids helped in washing the dishes, cleaning the floor, tidying up their bedroom, and even helping their parents cook.

“I am very happy to help clean our house,” said Miel Khloe Venice Alban, a CWS member from the Local Congregation of Zabarte. “I also helped cook rice.”

“This kind of activity is so important especially to us because even at a young aged we have been trained to do our chores,” said Mckenzie Ellyshey Lopez, another CWS member.

“The activity brings fervor to the CWS members, especially CWS officers,” said Carlo Romero, CWS teacher. “It taught them the importance of having good values and working to be of help to others.”

“What the Church Administration is teaching our young brethren is vital because when they learn these and possess these good traits as they grow up, they will become good Christians and will have a strong faith as children of God inside the Church Of Christ,” said Neil Kenneth Tesoro, minister of the gospel. ― With reports from INC News Section
