Members of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Florida, together with their parents, planted a total of 108 saplings in commemoration of the 108th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Held to coincide with the Church’s anniversary on July 27, 2022, the tree planting activity was held within the compound of their respective local congregations’ houses of worship. It aimed not only to foster environmental awareness among the young brethren but also to lend natural beauty to their chapel grounds.

More importantly, it taught young members of the Church the importance of upholding unity with the Church Administration by participating in Church activities from an early age through the guidance of their parents.

“The goal of the Church Administration is to prepare every Church member, including kids, for salvation. Through this activity, children here in our district get to strengthen their bond of the brotherhood, practice unity, and express love and concern for one another,” explained Brother Ferdinand De Dios, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer.

On behalf of the district, Brother Marlone Balason, district supervising minister, thanked God for placing a Church Administration that truly cares for the welfare of all the brethren. “Our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, loves all of us. He wants us to be strong in the faith. We hope that through this activity, the youth and families will be all the more active in all the works [of the Church] not just in CFO activities, but also in sharing our faith, and in attending worship services.” — With reports from INC News Section
