CWS members in Pampanga East learn the basics of news reporting

Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga East, in the Philippines, learned the basics of reporting news for broadcast in an activity dubbed “CWS News Reporting Camp” held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sto. Tomas on April 29, 2023.
CWS officers led the children in the activity. Through a video presentation, the children keenly observed how news presenters conduct themselves before the camera during their broadcasts.
“I learned many things in this activity, one of which is properly speaking in front of the camera,” said Jared Canlas, CWS member from Sto. Tomas Local Congregation.
The activity also aimed to discover children who are willing to be trained as anchors in the INC News Jr. program of the Church.
Elijah Garcia, CWS officer, said, “Activities in the CWS aim for the children to discover new skills and hone their talent which they can also use in fulfilling their duties in the Church.” — With reports from Ederlyn L. Tayag of INC News Section
