With the initiative and guidance of the Ecclesiastical District of United Kingdom, the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers in all congregations in the district convened on November 27, 2022 for their further edification in the faith.

Moreover, they offered praises and thanks to the Lord God for the victories He blessed the CWS or Pagsamba ng Kabataan (PNK) the past 104 years.

District Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Gerardo Aliermo, who officiated at the special gathering in the Battersea Local Congregation’s house of worship, said in an interview that it was “truly significant as the Church Administration utilizes the CWS in edifying our young brothers and sisters in the true faith.”

He delivered the prepared Bible-based lesson aimed at instilling deeper in the CWS officers, the rest of whom gathered in their respective places of worship and connected via videoconferencing, devotion to their God-given duty for the spiritual welfare of the children under their care.

“That we are instrumental in teaching the children while they’re young, so that when they grow old they won’t depart from what they were taught, stands out for me,” said Yuriel Luigi Perico, district CWS vice president from the Local Congregation of North London. “That inspires me a lot as I fulfill my responsibilities. And it’s indeed fantastic to know that until the end they do remain in the Church.”

As part of the special gathering, the attendees were led by CWS district leadership in reviewing the CWS activities held throughout the year and served as a gauge for them as they set to plan activities for the children in the coming year. — With assistance from INC News Section
