The Local Congregations of Prague, Czech Republic and Budapest, Hungary in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe jointly held an online Czech language workshop on March 14, 2021.
Hazel Ramilo, from the Local Congregation of Prague served as lecturer in the activity. She discussed how to say basic conversational phrases and sentences in Czech.
“We are very grateful to the Church Administration for approving activities such as these. It did not only widen our knowledge but it was also fun and engaging,” said Lina Catbagan, an expatriate in Prague, Czech Republic Congregation. She added that the activity also brought the brethren closer to one another through the use of modern technology.
Before the activity concluded, participants were made to answer a short quiz to make sure that they learned from the workshop.
Brother Kevin Heitmann, ministerial worker overseeing both Prague and Budapest Congregations, said, “Activities like this help strengthen our faith and our brotherhood, and make us all the more active and eager to intensify our efforts in propagating God’s words to more people.” ― With reports from INC News Section
