Brethren from the Local Congregation of Daegu, Ecclesiastical District of South Korea commemorated their congregation’s 13th anniversary through a get-together on November 21, 2021. Some brethren gathered at the congregation’s place of worship while others joined from their homes through videoconferencing.

It was like a trip down memory lane for the brethren as they watched on video the local congregation’s milestones since its establishment in 2008. After that, a quiz about the congregation’s history was held, in which the brethren actively participated. The attendees also engaged in other virtual fun games. In between these activities, selected Buklod and KADIWA members performed song numbers of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music.

“We wholeheartedly thank our Lord God for using our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, as an instrument in approving this activity in commemoration of our congregation’s anniversary. The brethren are overjoyed with the activity. [Church] activities, such as this, add to our spiritual fervor as we continue our services to our Lord God,” Jerico Gozon, head deacon, said.

Brother Rene Nuguid, resident minister, led the activity together with the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers. Brother Jerick Dela Cruz, the district supervising minister, graced the event during which brethren from Dalseong-gun area also attended. — With reports from INC News Section
