
Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Dancalan, Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental held a mangrove tree planting activity on March 28, 2022 along the coastal area of Sitio Calog, Barangay I (formerly Poblacion), Ilog, Negros Occidental, Philippines.
The brethren were led by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, together with the members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) and the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI). A total of 700 mangrove seedlings were planted during the activity.
Seeing the value of the environmental activity of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ), officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) as well as officials of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) assigned in the municipality of Ilog, joined the brethren in the activity. — With reports from INC News Section
