A new house of worship of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) has risen in Dangcagan, Bukidnon, Philippines and it was dedicated to the Lord God through a special worship service on June 4, 2021.

It was built for the Local Congregation of Dangcagan in the Ecclesiastical District of Bukidnon, whose members attended the dedication service during which they offered praises and glory to the Lord God for giving them a new house of worship.

Brother Alnorfo Jurada, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy gathering. In his homily, he emphasized through the Bible about the importance of the house of worship in the life of God’s chosen people.

“Despite the worries and trials in this world, our Lord God continues to fulfill His promise in helping His people even in the construction of houses of worship, we trust God and thank Him and the Church Administration,” Brother Clarito Capili, assistant district supervising minister, said in an interview.

“We are thankful to the Lord God because He heard the prayer of the brethren to have a new and beautiful house of worship,” resident ministerial worker, Brother Mark Gallardo, said, expressing the collective sentiment of the brethren. “Come what may in our lives, we will continue to fulfill our duties especially the intensive propagation launched by the Church Administration, inviting more people to know more about the Church.”

“We are joyful for being blessed with a new house of worship, despite the pandemic we are experiencing,” Chris Aves, head deacon, added.

The new house of worship is located along Sayre Highway, Poblacion, in Dangcagan town known as the “Durian Capital of Bukidnon.” — With reports from INC News Section
