To commemorate the third anniversary of the organization, the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Davao City in the Philippines conducted a medical mission for the residents of the villages in Los Amigos and Balengaeng, Davao City on February 12, 2022.

Dr. Kim Ara Enriquez, president of the CMDPS in the district, led fellow members in the medical profession—doctors, and nurses, among other health practitioners in the humanitarian event.

The medical mission began with a health seminar, followed by free services that included medical check-up, urinalysis, blood typing, and the giving of free medicines to the beneficiaries.

Daylin Labiton came to consult doctors about her child’s health. “I thank the Iglesia Ni Cristo for providing us here this health program that included catering to the needs of our children,” she said afterwards.

Dr. Kim Ara said that the recent mission of their organization was a prelude of further activities to be conducted on succeeding days. “We aim to be of help also to our fellowmen in far-flung areas, who have difficulty going to the city just to avail themselves of these health services,” she added. — With reports from INC News Section
