The Ecclesiastical District of Davao City held a baptism on February 27, 2022 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Gen. Malvar and was led by the district supervising minister, Brother Bedan Ubaldo.

During his homily, Brother Ubaldo emphasized to the candidates for baptism the need to uphold the intensive renewal of life and complete obedience to God’s teachings which will lead them to salvation.

In an interview, Brother Fernando Sicheco, district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, said, “The district continues to conduct baptisms because it is a commandment of God. He wants all to be saved and this will only be attained by joining the Church Of Christ.”

Eris Tomimasu, one of those who were baptized that day, said: “I will nourish my relationship with the Lord by remaining an active member until the end.” She is currently enlisted in the Local Congregation of Panorama. — With reports from INC News Section
