Rough roads leading to remote places did not discourage the Iglesia Ni Cristo members from the Ecclesiastical District of Davao de Oro in the Philippines to share the true faith to more barangays or villages under the district’s jurisdiction through an evangelical mission on May 9, 2021.

The district supervising minister, Brother Nicanor Bernardo Jr., led the study of God’s words at Sitio Padada, Barangay Mambing, which is almost 25 kilometers away from the district office. He highlighted from the Bible the importance for everyone to be found inside the true Church in order to be saved on Judgment Day.

Among the guests, Jeofrey Alico, a police staff sergeant, observed, “One of the important things the Church Of Christ members did was sharing the words of God. They even provided relief packages for our fellowmen living here.”

Meanwhile, the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Felix Villabrille, led the sharing of faith and giving of aid at Barangay Kidawa. Brother Abraham Lumawig, also a minister of the gospel, spearheaded the same propagational and socio-civic activity at villages in the municipality of Mawab.

Lolito Bernaldez, a barangay official, said, “This activity you did is a great help to us who are living here in the mountains, mostly during this pandemic crisis.”

The brethren who united in conducting this activity said their gratefulness to God for using the Church Administration and allowing them to conduct activities like this, for them to be of help not only in providing the material needs of their fellowmen, but most especially, that which concerns the attainment of salvation. — With reports from INC News Section
