The Ecclesiastical District of Davao Oriental in the Philippines conducted an evangelical mission on August 24, 2019 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tagboa in Barangay Tagboa, Lupon.
Brother Edwin Ocon, minister of the gospel, preached God’s words about the importance of joining the true Church. More than 200 guests attended.
After the Bible study, many guests said that they would continue listening to God’s teachings upheld by the Church Of Christ.
Meanwhile, on July 28, the district held an activity for edification dubbed “Himig ng Kasiglahan” at the Capitol Covered Court in the City of Mati, led by Brother Wilfred Sacayanan, district supervising minister. The six areas of the district, namely, Lupon, Batobato, Mati, Tibanban, Maragusan, and East Coast selected brethren to perform musical numbers.
The Lupon Area won first place, while Mati Area came in second.
The activity aimed to provide a bonding moment for the brethren and to spiritually strengthen them through inspirational Christian songs. ― With reports from INC News Section
