The Ecclesiastical District of Davao Oriental held a district-wide baptism on June 24, 2022. Baptismal candidates from various local congregations, having passed the probation, gathered at the house of worship of the Tibanban Congregation for the final step to become a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Brother Noel Bocario Sr., district supervising minister, officiated the holy occasion. In his Bible-based lecture, he emphasized the duty of Church Of Christ members to uphold the complete renewal of life and intensive obedience to God’s will to remain in their divine election.

Likewise, Brother Bocario pointed out how the newly baptized members should encourage all of their loved ones who are not yet Church members to examine the teachings inside the Church, so that they, too, will learn of the truth that will lead to salvation come Judgment Day.

One of the five ecclesiastical districts in the Davao region of the Philippines, Davao Oriental now consists of 39 local congregations. — With reports from INC News Section
