Davao West Buklod celebrates 58th anniversary thru special gathering

“As we are well aware, nowadays there are families that are ruined, as family members are not at peace with each other, especially the husband and wife, so they tend to separate or divorce. But that is not the case for us, Church members,” Brother Ubaldo explained regarding the significance of the event. “In the special gathering, we once again strengthened the marital bond between couples through the words of God so that His will be fulfilled, that those whom He joined together, man should not separate.”

Reflecting on the Bible-based lesson, Anthony Igaña, deacon from the Local Congregation of Ma-a, said, “Times do come when we have misunderstandings, but our love for each other prevails. We firmly hold on to the promise of God that whenever we approach Him in prayer, especially in times of trials, He will listen and help us.”

For this, his wife, Clariz, said, “I promise to be a good wife to him, while both of us are exemplary parents to our children.”

“We firmly believe that with God in the center of our marriage, we will carry on despite whatever trials we may face,” Anthony added. — With reports from INC News Section
