On its 75th anniversary, the Ecclesiastical District of Isabela South launched a district-wide blood donation activity that saw brethren from more than 50 local congregations volunteering as donors.

In collaboration with the Southern Isabela Medical Center, the humanitarian event was held on February 5, 2022 at the grounds of a resort in the town of Ramon, Isabela, Philippines.

Having coordinated with the pertinent government agencies, the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers worked hand-in-hand in making sure that the volunteers dutifully followed the health and safety protocols. They guided them through the required health checkup routine which included blood pressure check, body weight, and physical examination to qualify their being blood donors.

“I am eager for activities like this. It is more rewarding for me as it is held in commemoration of our district’s anniversary,” said Era Agustin, Church officer from the Local Congregation of Burgos.

Through the blood donation activity, brethren from the district hoped to be of help to their fellowmen, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members or not. — With reports from INC News Section
