‘This is KADIWA’ brought much excitement to young brethren throughout the Ecclesiastical District of Manila, as they gathered for the said activity held at the grounds of the Aurora Quezon Elementary School in Manila, Philippines on November 6, 2022.

“Coupled with our devotional prayers, we, the KADIWA officers, planned for this district-wide event. We wanted the activity to be appealing to our fellow KADIWA members. At the same time, through it, we wanted to attract more brethren to accept duties in the KADIWA organization,” conveyed King Beltran, district KADIWA president.

Each local congregation was assigned to design an activity booth based on popular attractions of a given Philippine province. Also, part of the program were musical performances of KADIWA members.

“The purpose of this event is, first and foremost, to give glory to God. Likewise, through our participation, we prove our complete unity with the Church Administration. Also, the brethren will get to meet their fellow KADIWA from other local congregations,” said Ezekiel Caaya, a KADIWA district officer.

“I am thankful to our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for launching this activity. It truly is memorable, especially on my part as a convert. I never attended anything like this in my former religion. But here, we can see the brethren’s effort in making this event happen and how everyone got together for it,” expressed Jhenlene May Torres from the Local Congregation of Solis.

KADIWA is the youth organization of the Church, composed of unmarried brethren who are 18 years old and above. The Church Administration desires to prepare the Church members in this organization for a bright future and blessed wedded life.

At present, the Ecclesiastical District of Manila consists of 20 local congregations, with Brother Wilson R. Cayago as the district supervising minister. — With reports from INC News Section
