The latest baptism hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac, in the Philippines, was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Aguso on February 25, 2023.

“I’m exceedingly glad for becoming a member of the true Church Of Christ. I now have the true hope for salvation,” shared Jeffrey Domo, a newly-baptized member from the said congregation.

Reminiscing his share of trials before being baptized, Domo added, “I’d been through various tests of faith along the way. It was not easy. But with the help of the Father, I emerged triumphant. Such experiences greatly help in my remaining active in the Church.”

What Domo shared reflected what Brother Emil Santiago, district supervising minister, relayed in his Bible-based preaching prior to the baptismal candidates’ oath of membership and the actual baptism. He said that Church Of Christ members, being God’s elect, must safeguard their calling by obeying all of God’s commandments, come what may in their lives.

“On behalf of my fellow officers in the Church, we express our utmost thanks to the Almighty God for bringing to fruition our united efforts. This further inspires us to remain even more united in all of the Church’s works that are led by the Church Administration,” said Brother Alex Gambala, resident minister of Aguso Local Congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
