To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Buklod, the organization for married members inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the Ecclesiastical District of Texas held back-to-back events on December 3, 2022.

On the said date, Buklod members from various local congregations in the district congregated in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Humble for a special gathering. Brother Virginio Ramilo II, district supervising minister, officiated at the occasion during which he reminded the married couples of what they ought to do so that they and their respective families can be certain of receiving God’s guidance, protection, and love.

Later that day, the brethren traveled to the Marriott Westchase Hotel, located at 2900 Briarpark Drive, in Houston, Texas, for their Buklod Night. There, the couples, dressed in formal attire, enjoyed an evening of musical performances by fellow Buklod members. They then partook of a banquet.

Before the event’s conclusion, awards were given to the brethren whose efforts in propagation bore fruit. The couples with the most number of years in marriage were also given recognition.

Through the years, the Buklod organization has been instrumental in launching various programs and activities that not only uplift the personal lives of married couples but, more importantly, edify the faith of their household. — With reports from INC News Section
