The leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Antique, in the Philippines, organized for the brethren a seminar on how to deal with stress.

Held on March 6, 2022 through videoconferencing, the seminar had as keynote speaker Dr. Jazyl Monton-Rabisant, president of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in the Agusan del Norte Ecclesiastical District.

She imparted essential information on stress and the slew of problems it would bring if not addressed on time and in the proper manner. She pointed out that these problems could be avoided through proper diet, regular exercise, and positive outlook in life.

“This activity is significant and truly beneficial for the welfare of the brethren, as there are so many life stressors,” said Brother Rosjen Gullem, a minister assigned in the Local Congregation of San Jose, Antique. “When we do our part to stay healthy, with God’s help, we will not succumb to stress, no matter how severe these may be.”

In his Bible-based inspirational message after the seminar-proper, Brother Simeon D. Laprades Jr., the district supervising minister, encouraged the brethren to take good care of their health, and more importantly, to put their full trust in God in any life’s situation, especially when they experience stresses in life. — With reports from INC News Section
