KADIWA members from the Local Congregation of Downtown, Alberta in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, Canada acquired leadership skills in a seminar on January 17, 2021.

The seminar was conducted through videoconferencing as they participated in the confines of their respective homes while enjoying their tea time.

Diane Vergara and Sybil Geronimo, KADIWA Leadership Enhancement Committee Chairperson and KADIWA Education and Livelihood Secretary, respectively, shared various ways to develop leadership skills.

They discussed about learning effective communication, teamwork, organizational skills, right attitude, time management, and leadership by example.

The participants were boosted in their confidence and self-esteem and most of all, were strengthened in the bond of brotherhood.

As one quote about leadership said that it “is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could,” the KADIWA members aim to use the skills they learned in the seminar to effectively lead their fellow KADIWA members in being active in all Church activities. — With reports from INC News Section
