On April 10, 2022, the Buklod leadership from the Local Congregation of Downtown, Alberta, in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, Canada, hosted “Buklod Date Night” for the married brethren. The activity brought joy and laughter to the husbands and wives and inspired them to all the more uphold and honor their marital vows.

In their formals, the married couples gathered at the Asian Buffet Restaurant along Bonaventure Drive SE, Calgary, Canada for the activity.

Brother Emmanuel Español, resident minister, welcomed the attendees to the activity. “We are thankful for your active participation in this activity. We hope you will enjoy this evening,” he said.

Buklod officers prepared live musical performances and several games for the couples. In between performances, Bible verses were read reminding the Buklod members of the vows they made to each other on their wedding day. A presentation of throwback wedding photos was flashed on the screen at the end of the program. — With reports from INC News Section
