The evangelical mission held by the Dumaguete City Local Congregation in Barangay Batinguel of that city in Negros Oriental, Philippines, on January 27, 2023, proved to be a success as it drew many residents in the village to listen to the proclamation of God’s words.

“Brethren in the local congregation, led by the Church officers, responded positively to the call to help out in this propagational activity here in Barangay Batinguel. Their enthusiasm in inviting people resulted in a large turnout of guests,” attested Brother Johncy Rago, resident minister of the congregation, which is in the Ecclesiastical District of Negros Oriental.

The guests, including friends and loved ones of the brethren, gathered at the community hall for the said activity, during which Brother Rago discussed the indispensability of the true Church for salvation. Citing the Bible, he proved that in these last days, the Church is none other than the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Among those who actively took part in the propagational activity was Michel Garces, a choir member. “I helped in the Church’s missionary activity because I understand that as a part of God’s nation, He expects me to share our faith with people for them to know the truth about salvation.”

“The lesson I heard in the evangelical mission woke my interest with God’s words,” said Jovet Benitez, a guest. “Now, I want to know more of the teachings of God upheld inside the Church Of Christ.” — With reports from INC News Section
