The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City in the Philippines promptly sent aid to affected families just hours after a fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Holy Spirit dawn of Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

The district supervising minister, Brother Wilson R. Cayago, led officers of the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) in preparing and delivering the relief packages from the district office, just minutes away from where the fire incident broke out, to the evacuation area.

Nora Vantasan Allid, nonmember, said, “I thank the Iglesia Ni Cristo which has helped me and my family.”

Fellow ministers also assisted Brother Wilson, especially Brother James Aaron Monforte, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Republic, where the fire happened nearby.

“These relief packages were sent by the Church Administration,” said Brother James. On behalf of the congregation and the aided residents, he added: “To our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, thank you so much for inspiring us to do this.” — With reports from INC News Section
