WERE IT NOT for God’s love and compassion, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members would have been overwhelmed by the pandemic and its ill-effects.
Through Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, the brethren are led, without fail, in worshiping God. He personally leads congregations in worship services either in-person, online or both. He also regularly leads the International Conference of Ministers and Ministerial Workers, further edifying his co-workers. Thus, with the Executive Minister’s indefatigable efforts as motivation, he is able to encourage the members to be one with the Church Administration in edifying the elect in these trying times.
The following are some works in edification held in the Church’s ecclesiastical districts and local congregations worldwide:
Special gathering of Church officers, oathtaking of new ones
Uplifting brethren-students, lauding graduates
Commemorating milestone anniversaries
To glorify God is the main goal of every Church activity. That is why, whenever the Church reaches milestone anniversaries in its various endeavors, the members are not remiss in giving back to Him all the glory:
Inaugural worship services
The rise of new local congregations, extensions, and group worship services (GWS) also further fortify the faith of the brethren, especially those in far-flung areas. To this end, inaugural worship services open a new chapter for the true servants’ lives, that leads to further activeness in the faith.
A lifelong endeavor
Looking back to these activities, true members of the Church Of Christ promise to remain united with the Church Administration in edifying their fellow brethren. This is proven, among others, with the influx of new Church officers, including qualified male members who have responded to the call to join the holy ministry; they firmly believe that duties in the Church are God-given gifts (I Pet. 4:10-11 Contemporary English Version), and so He will be with them as they carry out their respective responsibilities.
