All 14 local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong held evangelical missions simultaneously on April 23, 2023 at their respective places of worship.

The congregations’ members brought their colleagues, friends, and relatives to listen to and examine God’s words that the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) upholds.

The evangelistic undertakings were led by Brother Noer Misa, district supervising minister, and Brother Arnel Trinidad, assistant district supervising minister, together with the resident ministers.

“The Church carries out such activities in fulfillment of the biblical mandate to express love to our fellowmen,” explained Brother Misa. “This is the reason the Church never ceases to proclaim the truth to many people as we can in order for them to receive the hope of being saved.”

In the study of God’s words written in the Bible, the designated ministers taught a lesson about the importance of membership in the Church Of Christ as it is the only means for people to attain the eternal life that the Savior Jesus Christ promised.

Josephine Cando, a guest of the Yuen Long Congregation, said, “I’m glad that I was able to attend the evangelical mission in the Iglesia Ni Cristo. I felt better after listening to what the minister has taught us.”

Another guest of the same congregation, Lorena Antontio, said, “The words of God taught to us gave me a clearer mind on what to do with my life. It eases the loneliness I felt away from my family.” — With reports from Katrina Leung and Joan Advincula of INC News Section
