The combined efforts of the brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Negros Oriental during the evangelical missions held simultaneously on February 17, 2023 by seven clusters of neighboring congregations proved a success as they drew a total of over a thousand guests.

“It is the Lord Jesus Christ’s command to spread the Good News of salvation to all people, which is why brethren are all the more inspired to continue inviting people to these propagational activities of the Church,” said Brother Camillo Gadian, district auditor, who officiated at one of the seven evangelical missions.

The brethren from each cluster brought their guests in one of the following congregations’ houses of worship: Bayawan City, Dumaguete City, Mabinay, Manjuyod, Siaton, Siquijor, and Tanjay City. Ministers of the gospel, namely, Romel Garing, Camillo Gadian, Dan Demegillo, Parlei Dongcoy, Joel Arias, Kenneth De Leon, and Melchor Reyes, officiated, respectively. They witnessed to the guests about the true religion that people must join, establishing through biblical verses that this is the Church Of Christ.

Reflecting on the participating brethren’s spirit, Edgardo Tumapon Sr., SCAN president from the Bonawon Congregation, said, “I will not keep to myself the hope of receiving God’s promised salvation. I will keep introducing the true Church to my fellowmen.” — With reports from INC News Section
