On September 18, 2022, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Meadowlark, Ecclesiastical District of Edmonton flocked to Sir Laurier Park, approximately nine kilometers away from their house of worship, for a day of bonding before the Canadian winter sets in.

Through the efforts of the congregation’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, several games were facilitated, to the delight of the attendees. These were Sack Race, Football Toss, Paper Airplane Farthest Flight, Bubble Bump Game, and Biking. Both parents and children participated in the outdoor games. By noontime, the activity wrapped up with a potluck lunch.

“Activities like this is important because brethren get to enjoy, engage and have fun participating with their own family while connecting with other members’ families at the same time,” said Victoria Tassel, choir member.

Indeed, through the guidance of the Church Administration, Church Of Christ members in Meadowlark continue enjoying activities like this, which reinforces camaraderie among the brethren and stronger family ties. — With reports from INC News Section
