Taking a breather, families from the Local Congregation of Rome, Ecclesiastical District of Italy South, travelled to Lake Vico, north of Rome, on June 29, 2022 for a day of fun under the sun. Sponsored by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), the activity was dubbed “Family Fun Day.”

Before setting off, the brethren first gathered at their house of worship to pray and to receive safety reminders from Brother Ronaldo Flor, their resident minister and the district Light of Salvation overseer. Afterwards, an hour of travel brought them to the shores of Lake Vico.

Families, from parents down to their children, had a chance to play various fun games including tug-of-war, limbo, and sack race by the lakeshore. Others played chess. Organizers also facilitated volleyball matches. Through a potluck, everyone enjoyed food and refreshment afterwards.

“Socializing and playing together brought joy to the members of each family and added inspiration for them to unite in other Church endeavors,” Brother Flor said.

Brother Randy Macalinao, the district supervising minister, and the district staff, together with their respective families joined the brethren from Rome in the activity. — With reports from INC News Section
