To introduce the true Church to nonmembers and at the same time keep the members strong in the faith, brethren from the Local Congregation of Lae City and West Taraka Extension, both in Papua New Guinea, invited and gathered guests, most of which are their loved ones and friends, on April 23, 2023 to watch with them the biographical film, “Felix Manalo.”
The event was led by Brothers Edmark Velasco and Joselito Omagap, ministers of the gospel.
The bio-pic tells the life story of the one whom Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members firmly believe as the Messenger of God in these last days. While the movie shows the Church in its nascent years, depicted as well was the firm faith of Brother Manalo, which became a source of inspiration to the viewers.
Having seen Brother Manalo’s unwavering determination in the face of trials and persecution as he tirelessly proclaimed God’s truth to his fellowmen, the attendees were touched and amazed. Maria Pawa, a guest, expressed, “I feel so blessed. I really believe that God will bless this mission to extend here in PNG.” Maria is a Human Resource Officer from Kuima Security in Papua New Guinea.
The brethren expressed their gratitude to the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for providing various means to edify members of the Church of Christ. They promised to remain dedicated to their services and continue to give glory to the Lord God by sharing the message of salvation.
