Teaching the brethren, especially the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), tips on how to manage personal finances and savings, the KADIWA officers from the Local Congregation of Macau, Ecclesiastical District of Macau conducted on two consecutive days from July 10 to 11, 2021 a seminar dubbed “Financial Literacy for OFWs.”

Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers Edwin Mayuga and Mar Agustin served as resource speakers for the activity. To benefit the greatest number of brethren possible, the seminar was held as a part of the KADIWA monthly meeting. The brethren gathered at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Macau for the said activity.

Mar said, “Our meeting was beneficial as we tackled financial literacy. Youth members were well-guided with their living and working in Macau.”

“In the activity, they were given important information and tips that will guide them in everyday living,” said Edwin Mayuga, a head deacon in Macau Congregation.

The young brethren expressed their gratitude to the Church Administration for the support and love for their organization. They promised to participate in all Church activities. ― With reports from INC News Section
